Sing your way into Spring with Encore Chorale

Retired? What are you doing for an encore?
The Laurel Lake Encore Chorale is now enrolling singers
age 55 or older for the 2012 Spring season.
Join this enthusiastic group of more than 60 singers who meet weekly at Laurel Lake to explore their voices and learn challenging, fun choral repertoire under the direction of Donna Anderson. Encore Chorale sings four (or more) part choral arrangements in a wide variety of musical styles, performing two major concerts each year.
This Spring season, fifteen rehearsals starting January 17 at 3 p.m. will culminate in a May concert with guest artists. Spring music includes favorites from The American Songbook, lively spirituals, several classical pieces, and a little barbershop just for fun.
Participation is free and open to the public. No auditions are required. Choir members may sit or stand for performances. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays at 3 p.m. at Laurel Lake Retirement Community, 200 Laurel Lake Drive in Hudson. The first rehearsal of the new season is January 17, but singers can join any time.
For more information or to reserve a music folder, please call Donna Anderson at 330-655-1436 or email info@laurellake.org.
