Pay Rate:  $12.48 - $18.73/hr.

 

PRN Pay Rate:   $12.41/hr. (work as needed)

 

Companion Aide / Home Health - $2,500.00 Sign on Bonus (SFT)

Companion Aide / Home Health - $1,000.00 Sign on Bonus (PT)

 

(*Sign on Bonus Eligibility is based on your status at time of hire.  Status must be that of full time, working at least 30 or more hours per week for the $2,500.00 bonus and anyone hiring in part time, working less than 30 hours per week would be eligible for the $1,000.00 bonus.  All sign-on bonuses are prorated and paid over 5 quarters.)

 

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform direct resident care for each resident in his or her assigned area.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED

CPR Certification

First Aid Certification

 

EXPERIENCE:

Retirement Community setting experience preferred.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

PRINCIPAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Resident care and report all unusual findings/changes to Charge Nurses, Caring Hands Coordinator and or Wellness Nurse.
  • Provide assistance with sorting mail and/or pick up, clerical help, pet care(including dog walking), watering plants, closet cleaning and organizing, packing/unpacking/moving in-house
  • Assist in other areas and or shifts as needed to ensure appropriate care for all facility residents (including covering other shifts on a rotating basis as requested.
  • Maintain CPR/FIRST AIDE certification
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in a timely manner

Attend quarterly staff meetings and mandatory meeting.
