 Starting Salary:  $47,692.00 - $76,308.00

(*This is based on 2080 hours.)

  

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Marketing Representative will work diligently with the sales/marketing team in its effort to develop and maintain Laurel Lake Retirement Community’s occupancy at budgeted capacity, with a special focus on Greenwood Assisted Living sales.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

EDUCATION:

High school graduate or GED equivalent required

 

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in all or a combination of the following:

  • Sales, marketing, or community outreach experience required
  • Senior Living experience preferred
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Assertive, goal driven, self-motivated and detail oriented

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Possess basic clerical and computer skills

 

PRINCIPAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Under the direction of the Marketing Director, focus on Greenwood Assisted Living sales and provide back-up support to Marketing Director for Independent Living/Type “A” Life Care sales
  • Join the sales/marketing team in planning and coordinating special marketing events
  • Conduct community tours for prospective residents, families and visitors
  • Assist in developing leads, utilizing all appropriate marketing and advertising methods
  • Consistently follow up on all leads, including but not limited to phone calls, letters and personal visits
  • Participate as requested in resident pre-screening and admission process
  • Support the Communications Assistant in developing/maintaining marketing materials and resources
  • Maintain accurate lead files and track client relationship-building efforts using CRM system
  • Provide Marketing Director with ongoing sales reports
  • Respond to customers’ needs and questions in a friendly, professional manner and with a focus on creating positive, memorable experiences
  • Prepare & maintain accurate closing documents/files.                
  • Support residents after move-in and encourage ongoing referrals.                                   
  • Develop contacts and opportunities for group presentations to outside organizations
  • Provide ideas & support for marketing strategies/events/advertising to increase leads and sales
  • Remain informed & help inform co-workers about competitors by conducting site visits and obtaining collateral materials.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development by attending in-service, educational seminars, staff meetings and other learning experiences
  • Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of team members and resident information
